Ixandel's Character Sheet

Those of you that don't know about him, meet Ixandel. He gets a CS because he's one of my favorite characters. And also because I miiiiight be submitting him to another group.

Also, I experimented with a longer CS format instead of my normal horizontal ones. Any opinions? And I don't know if I mentioned this, but I really really like this CS .w.

Name: Ixandel (ICKS-ann-dell)
Somebody's Name: Daniel
Title/Proof of Existence: The Familiar Subterfuge
Element: Recognition
Element Description: Ixandel can either make someone appear familiar or make them unrecognizable (note: this does not alter their appearance, just people's ability to connect their face with who they are). Currently, he can only alter Recognition between himself and another person (see element usage diagram). This works as follows:
On himself - familiarity
-Ixandel looks familiar to a person he's never met. They may "remember" details about him.
-"You look so familiar, but I can't remember where I've seen you before..."
-This would allow Ixandel to bluff his way past minor security checkpoints.
On others - familiarity
-Ixandel "recognizes" the subject, gaining a brief glimpse of their personality and, when he has achieved greater control, their name (or something close to it, i.e. sound-alikes).
-"Of course I know you~ You're... Donald something. Do you by any chance fly around in a gummi ship saving the worlds?"
-This allows him to assess people he's never met before and get on their good side by not offending them.
On himself - unrecognizable
-People that know him are no longer to recognize him as Ixandel (see note on limitations).
-"You're... no, damn, I've forgotten again. What's your name?"
-Would be used as a prank or to avoid arrest warrants and such.
On others - unrecognizable
-Ixandel is unable to recognize anyone.
-"Who are all you people? I don't recognize any of you."
-Why would this ever be useful?

Limitations
1. As of right now, Ixandel can only use the last three (he cannot currently make people recognize him).
2. Additionally, the second (recognizing others) is at its lowest level. He would just know the barest suggestion of their personality.
3. It is hard - nearly impossible - to force someone that doesn't know him to recognize him. In other words, the better they know him, the easier it is for him to remind them who he is via Recognition.
4. Likewise, it is easy to make someone who's met him once not know him, but near impossible to make a friend unable to recognize him.
5. False recognition/nonrecognition only lasts as long as Ixandel is actively using his element. The instant he stop channeling energy into it, the friend would remember him, or the acquaintance would stop thinking he was familiar.

*Note: As Ixandel becomes more powerful, it may one day be possible for him to control recognition between two other people, not just himself and another.

Weapon: Serrated shortsword, named "Ugly"
*Note: Ugly seems like a strange weapon when you consider Ixandel's apparent personality, but in truth it represents the other side of him he rarely shows. As a Somebody was passionate and wanted to make friends because he liked being with them. As a Nobody he cultivates friendships merely for the control they give him, and his true personality is quite cold and vicious. If any more explanation is needed, think about what Ugly would do to someone as he stabbed them and then withdrew the weapon. QED.
Homeworld: Salence/Traverse Town
History/Background: Daniel was originally from a quiet little world called Salence, which was on the edge of the hub of gummi-ship accessible worlds. Their world prospered, due to the supply of precious metals that lay just below the world's surface. However, when Daniel was eleven, the world fell to darkness. Only he and his father were able to make it on to the last evacuation ship leaving for Traverse Town; they never found out what happened to his mother and older brother. Daniel grew up in Traverse Town, where his father had opened a small trading shop.
   Though on the surface Daniel appeared happy, and always knew the right thing to say, there was bitterness festering deep in his heart, the loss of his homeworld and half his family having affected him more deeply than anyone -- including himself -- suspected. Telling himself he was happy, Daniel grew up in a community of friends and strange people from other worlds. Yet one day, interested in adventure, he hopped a gummi ship to Halloween Town. He had hardly stepped off the ship when he encountered a voracious swarm of Heartless. Daniel did his best to fight them, but when the crew of the gummi ship abandoned him halfway through the fight he was overwhelmed, having never truly been trained for combat (though he had picked up an odd smattering from some of the visitors to Traverse Town).
   When he awoke as a Nobody, it was fairly obvious to Ixandel what had happened. Daniel had been a strong-willed, passionate person with clear morals, and now only one of those qualities remained. Figuring he no longer had any emotional ties to Traverse Town, Ixandel decided he'd explore the worlds he'd heard so much about. He began to wander, noticing along the way he had a strange gift for seeming familiar...
Appearance:
Hair color: Green, in a ponytail (christened the "douchebag ponytail" by someone I won't name)
Eye color: Blue
Distinguishing Marks/Scars: None
Height: 5'7"

What Ixandel would look like if I could draw him properly: Ixandel is short but muscular, especially in his upper body (why do you think he wears a sleeveless coat?). He has small hands and legs that are perhaps disproportionately long for his height. His ponytail is pulled tightly back from his head and held by a thick black rubber-band type hair tie. His eyes are pale blue and rather startling. Though he is fair-skinned, he is not whiter-than-white pale, having a pinkish-yellow tinge to his skin that gives him a bit of color. His nose is a little larger and pointer than average, to the point where some people find him not particularly good-looking, though they all agree he has such a friendly smile...

Age: 21 (+3 years as a Nobody)
Personality: Always grinning, Ixandel is naturally charming, and that combined with his element makes him friends with almost everyone. He is the perfect candidate for spying and infiltration. However, his easygoing manner disappears in an instant when he fights. He can be a vicious and cold-blooded killer.

Attacking: [Normal:] "Oh, hello there~" [Alternate:] "The end."
Shocked: "No. You're serious?"
Taking Orders: He doesn't, usually. (*grins* "Yes sir.")
Killing an Opponent: "Well, that's the end of you…"
Dying: "And I thought… No? Well, game over…"

*Note: "[Normal:]" responses are when he's his normal cocky, charming self. "[Alternate:]" are when he's dropped that mask and revealed his psychotic side.
